Lawyer since 2003

Eric Romba holds a wealth of expertise in the area of banking and capital market law. He offers specialised consultation on the intersection between assets and investment funds. In this context, advising clients on the German Capital Investment Code (KAGB) is one of his key areas of focus.

He does not only represent the interests of our clients to courts and supervisory authorities, but also in parliamentary and legislative procedures. In addition to this, he dedicates himself to the field of real estate asset management.

Alongside his professional passions for investments and supervisory law, he also cultivates a private interest in art. This has led Eric Romba to advise artists, gallery owners and collectors on matters ranging from transactions and tax issues, to questions on the protection of cultural property.

Eric Romba studied in Bonn. He worked in the German Bundestag for a number of years, and as a legal practitioner at the firm GSK Stockmann & Kollegen. He has held the post of Managing Director of bsi German Federal Association of Asset and Investment Funds (Bundesverband Sachwerte und Investmentvermögen e.V.) for 12 years.

Alongside his legal responsibilities, Eric Romba is also lecturer at the Frankfurt School of Finance and at the IREBS International Real Estate Business School. He fulfils various positions in committees, supervisory boards and advisory boards, including at the Ombudsman’s Office for Assets and Investment Funds.
